qbia

   'qbia' RETURN 'w'|'a'|'i'|'c'|'1'-'9'|' 10'-' 99'|'q'
This keyword is used to change the bias of a line. The bias defines a coarsening or refinement of the mesh along a line. The number defines the ratio of the length of the first element to the length of the last element at a given line. It works by pressing a number between 1 and 9 when the mouse pointer is at the position of a line. To define numbers between 10 and 99 press the space bar when the mouse pointer is at the position of a line and then the number (two times the space bar for 100 to 999). To select more than one line with one stroke, type ”a” before and create a rectangular picking area by pressing two times the ”r” key. Both strokes define opposite corners of the rectangle. To select only one line type ”i” before. Press ”c” to change the direction of the bias. Press ”q” to quit the command (see alse bia). Consider to split a line if you need a bias in both direction (see qspl).
